Allan was meant to fight for the WKA Scottish title on the 2nd of August, however, his opponent pulled out at short notice. Given his record and the late cancellation he was offered the chance to fight for the British title, a challange he was more than willing to accept.
After dominating the fight for 4 rounds he knocked his opponent down towards the end of the 5th round, in a testament to his conditioning he was able to make the count and make it through to the final bell. As expected Allan won by unanimous decision, winning every round on two of the judges score cards and all but one on another.

Allan travelled out to Florida this year to compete in the WKA World Championships, and building on his impressive full contact record this year fought his way to a Bronze medal. Again proving himself to be a world class competitor and coach.

There was a good turn out from the club at the first ISKA tournament of the year at the Kelvin Hall this Sunday (26th Feb). The club had 6 fighters and brought home 6 medals, 3 gold, 2 silver and a bronze. There would have been more gold medals if club fighters hadn't fought in finals or semi-finals.
Everyone fought well and done the club proud. A great result considering how many people were fighting for the first time, or were stepping up from beginners.
